Job description

Job Profile

Due to growth, an experienced Claims Technician is required to join a Subsidence Team where you will provide technical building claims solutions and support to surveyors and claims management teams.

Main duties include:

1. Communicating with customers, contractors, and insurers via phone, email, and written correspondence.
2. Managing third-party companies to achieve vegetation removal and drain repairs to mitigate subsidence damage.
3. Updating and creating building repair scopes using in-house schedules of rates.
4. Negotiating cash settlements for repairs with policyholders.
5. Managing panel contractors, repair schedules, and costs.
6. Settling claims under delegated authority.
7. Requirements: Previous experience in subsidence/buildings insurance claims, extensive trade experience (5+ years), or a graduate building surveyor.
8. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
9. Proficiency in computer use with strong verbal and written communication skills.
10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
11. Positive, flexible, self-motivated team player with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Salary & Benefits:
