Job summary

Exchange Street Executive Search is recruiting an experienced Building Surveyor (Subsidence) to work from home and cover Northern England. You will deliver subsidence and building surveying services for insurance claims, visit sites to assess structural issues, and collaborate with policyholders, insurers, loss adjusters, and other stakeholders to drive timely resolutions. MRICS/MCIOB or C.BuildE preferred; strong communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in subsidence and loss adjusting for insurance claims.
• MRICS/MCIOB or C.BuildE qualifications preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Excellent customer service and organisational abilities are expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver subsidence and building surveying services for domestic and commercial insurance claims.
• Attend site to carry out technical assessments and investigate claims.
• Manage your own workload and portfolio to meet business goals and SLAs.
• Visit damaged properties across your region to assess structural issues and determine requirements to reinstate buildings.
• Collaborate with policyholders, insurers, loss adjusters, and other stakeholders to drive timely resolution of claims.
• Maintain accurate records in the claims management system and share expertise across the team.
