Job summary

Proserv is seeking a Controls Engineer (Mechanical) to join our Engineering team in Great Yarmouth. You will design subsea and topside control systems and produce technical documentation, supporting the full engineering lifecycle from design to commissioning.

The role requires an engineering qualification (BEng preferred) and an understanding of industrial mechanical and hydraulic control systems, with offshore experience a plus. A UK driving license and offshore certification may be needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification (BEng preferred) or equivalent (HNC/HND accepted).
• Understanding of industrial mechanical and hydraulic control systems.

Responsibilities

• Designing subsea and topside control systems.
• Producing engineering documentation.
• Carrying out calculations to verify designs meet specs.
• Ensuring solutions comply with specifications, standards and QA/QC.
• Collaborating with procurement, manufacturing, testing and commissioning teams.
• Supporting project delivery to timescales and requirements.
• Engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to confirm requirements.
• Assisting with testing, commissioning and fault-finding.
• Contributing to quality, health, safety and continuous improvement.
