Job summary

Deepsea Technologies UK is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive growth across the subsea and offshore energy markets in the UK and internationally. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will develop customer relationships, identify opportunities and convert complex technical challenges into commercially viable solutions, while travelling extensively to client sites and industry events.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or equivalent technical experience in subsea/offshore energy.
• Proven experience in technical sales, business development or project engineering within subsea/oil & gas.
• Strong understanding of subsea production systems and equipment.
• Track record of winning new business and meeting order intake targets.
• Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals, quotations and tenders.
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and account management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with operators, EPC contractors, OEMs and subsea industry stakeholders.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the offshore energy market.
• Promote Deepsea Technologies UK's products, services and engineering capabilities.
• Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, quotations and tenders.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the sales process and support the Head of Sales.
• Work closely with engineering and project teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and contribute to revenue growth objectives.
• Represent the business at customer meetings, exhibitions, conferences and industry events.
• Develop new business while growing key existing customer accounts.
• Understand customer technical requirements and convert them into commercially focused solutions using Deepsea Technologies UK products and services.
