Job summary

Deepwater is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to drive growth across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa region. You will own sales targets, manage existing accounts, win new business and guide proposals from concept through approval, ensuring accurate forecasting and strong commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years outside sales in offshore oil, gas or wind (or 10+ years of relevant technical sales experience without a degree)
• Proven management experience
• Track record of hitting sales goals with ability to plan and execute a sales strategy
• Technical grounding in corrosion control or cathodic protection is a strong plus
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus

Responsibilities

• Hit bookings targets and other agreed KPIs
• Build and execute a sales strategy aligned with company priorities — including training the wider team to sell Deepwater's offering effectively
• Coordinate proposals and sales activity with a focus on winning bids, working closely with Engineering and Projects on solutions under development
• Keep the business informed — weekly activity reporting, full activity logging in Salesforce, timely expense reports, and proposals that go beyond what customers expect
• Prepare and maintain sales forecasts for monthly financial and executive management reporting
• Represent Deepwater at exhibitions across the UK, Europe and the Middle East
• Interview, hire, and train new members of the sales team
