Job summary

Imenco Group in Aberdeen seeks an Electronics Technician for our workshop-based role, offering full training and strong development opportunities. You'll work hands-on with subsea acoustic products, CCTV systems and subsea and thermal imaging cameras, building your technical expertise while taking ownership of tasks and delivering excellent customer support.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in electronics or electrical engineering
• Experience with electronic fault finding, repair and problem solving
• Experience in a technical support role
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
• Works to tight deadlines
• Team player with strong communication and reporting skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Business Central
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise multiple projects
• Soldering to IPC standards
• First Aid certified
• Fire warden trained

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and provide reports/quotations for subsea acoustic sensors
• Perform quality control checks on subsea products
• Build, assemble and repair PCBs, including IPC soldering
• Inspect, test and prepare rental equipment
• Quality control oversight
• Respond to customer queries
• Source parts on the Company ERP system
• Report non-conformances on products
• Liaise with Engineering when drawings need updating
• Follow HSEQ policies and industry standards
• Use and update internal systems
