Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited in Luton is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to build and manage a reliable network of subcontractors for reactive maintenance, planned works, voids and disrepair across multiple streams. The role focuses on sourcing subcontractors, onboarding them and maintaining ongoing compliance to ensure providers are approved and ready to deliver work.

You will work closely with Operations, HSEQ, Commercial and Finance to secure approvals, monitor performance and manage renewals,

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or property maintenance supply chains.
• Sourcing and onboarding subcontractors with compliant records.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit subcontractors by trade, location and capacity.
• Manage onboarding and approval processes.
• Maintain the approved subcontractor register.
• Monitor insurance, qualifications, accreditations and compliance documentation.
• Track expiry dates and manage renewals.
• Work with Operations, HSEQ, Commercial and Finance to secure approvals.
• Monitor subcontractor quality, reliability, safety and performance.
• Maintain supplier scorecards and support reviews.
• Identify supply chain gaps and build capacity.
• Support new contract mobilisations and client audits.
• Improve onboarding and compliance processes to reduce delays.
