Job summary

Optimal Maintenance & Construction, a UK-based property maintenance and refurbishment company, seeks a Supply Chain Manager & Recruiter to recruit, onboard, and manage subcontractors and internal staff. You’ll ensure hires meet standards, comply with requirements, and align with company values.

You’ll drive efficiency and growth by securing the right people, maintaining CRM records, and coordinating with Operations, Finance, and Directors.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in recruitment, supply chain, procurement, or people management, with a background in property, construction, or facilities.
• Industry Knowledge: Subcontractor management, trade workflows, and compliance requirements.
• Organisational Skills: Manage high-volume recruitment pipelines and maintain compliance records.
• Communication Skills: Professional, persuasive, and confident communicator with internal teams and subcontractors.
• Process-Driven: Create and follow structured procedures for onboarding and compliance.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient with CRM, Office tools, and digital onboarding.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Source, identify, and recruit subcontractors across trades and internal roles.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment from contact to contracts and onboarding.
• Maintain recruitment pipelines to meet growth and operational needs.
• Coordinate interviews, references, and assessments as part of vetting.
• Ensure recruits understand standards, values and expectations.
• Maintain compliance records (insurances, right-to-work, licenses).
• Utilise CRM to track activity and onboarding status.
• Build long-term relationships with subcontractors and internal teams.
