Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Sub Project Manager to join our Project Management Team on the Sellafield decommissioning programme. You will work closely with the Asset Care Lead, client and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on time and to plan objectives.

This role requires strong planning, governance, budgeting, risk management and stakeholder coordination across engineering, construction and nuclear facilities, with SC clearance and British Sole National status required.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, construction, or nuclear sectors.
• Strong planning, reporting, and delivery skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scope definition, scheduling, and governance.
• Manage stakeholder communication and expectations.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and project activities.
• Assist with budget, resource, and cost management.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and change requests.
• Monitor progress against milestones and quality requirements.
• Produce project reports and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
