Job summary

Amentum UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning activities for major programmes such as HPC. You will ensure safety, quality, time and cost targets are met, reporting to a Senior Project Manager.

This role requires coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, managing risks, and applying NEC/FIDIC frameworks in a regulated environment to drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, construction or related field is desirable but not essential.
• Professional qualification in Project Management (APM PPQ or similar) is desirable but not essential.
• Demonstrated leadership in complex projects.
• Working knowledge of CDM Regulations.
• Proficient use of estimating, scheduling, risk and Earned Value Management tools.
• Understanding nuclear quality needs and controls.
• Experience managing commercial claims, procurement and complex contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in securing resources to meet project requirements and maintain SQEP for team.
• Assist Senior Project Manager to develop and implement programme execution plans.
• Maintain effective communications with stakeholders and execute PEP strategies.
• Drive contract package delivery to meet safety, time and budget constraints; report progress to stakeholders.
• Identify risks, manage issues and update programme budget; escalate to Senior PM.
• Ensure schedules are developed and maintained and align with overall project schedules.
• Capture lessons learnt and ensure knowledge sharing as standard practice.
• Interface with other programmes to adopt best practices and ensure contract requirements are fulfilled.
