Job summary

Rullion Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, governance and delivery for engineering and nuclear projects in Whitehaven. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets and risks, and maintaining high standards of reporting and stakeholder communication.

The position is hybrid with a minimum of three days on-site per week, offering a 40-hour workweek. Applicants should have several years of PM experience in relevant sectors and strong governance knowledge.

• Project Planning & Initiation: define scope, objectives, schedules, resources and governance for delivery.
• Stakeholder Management: act as primary contact with stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Team Leadership & Coordination: coordinate cross-functional teams and clarify roles and deliverables.
• Budget & Resource Management: assist in developing and monitoring budgets and resource plans.
• Risk & Issue Management: identify, assess and mitigate risks and manage change requests.
• Schedule & Quality Control: track progress vs milestones and ensure quality standards.
• Communication & Reporting: produce project reports and maintain documentation.
• Compliance & Governance: ensure activities comply with procedures and regulatory requirements.

Location: Whitehaven

Hybrid/Remote Working: Minimum 3 days on site per week

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Role information:

• Project Planning & Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, schedules, resource requirements, and governance arrangements to support successful project delivery.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective expectation management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Team Leadership & Coordination: Coordinate and support cross-functional teams, ensuring roles, responsibilities, and deliverables are clearly understood and achieved.
• Budget & Resource Management: Assist in the development, monitoring, and control of project budgets and resource plans to ensure efficient delivery.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while proactively managing issues, opportunities, and change requests.
• Schedule & Quality Control: Monitor project progress against agreed milestones and ensure deliverables meet required quality standards. Communication & Reporting: Produce project reports, performance updates, and maintain accurate project documentation. Compliance & Governance: Ensure project activities are undertaken in accordance with company procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications/Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a project management role within the engineering, construction, or nuclear sectors. Strong understanding of project reporting, planning, and delivery methodologies.
• Experience working closely with planning and cost engineers to drive project performance and reporting.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to build effective working relationships across multi disciplinary teams
• Experience with Integrated Work Management (IWM) is desirable.
