Sub Agent - Water Infrastructure Civil Lead (Contract)

Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a proactive Sub Agent to lead civil site delivery on a high-value water infrastructure project near Maidstone. You will supervise site engineers, foremen and subcontractors, ensuring progress aligns with client specs within AMP8 framework.

Responsibilities include planning, technical management, QA sign-offs and enforcing strict safety standards. The role requires sector experience and appropriate tickets, with ongoing contract duration and immediate start.

Qualifications

• Water sector background with delivery of civil infrastructure on water facilities.
• Strong technical grounding in deep drainage, concrete, groundworks and temporary works.
• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Mandatory tickets: CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work, EUSR Water Hygiene.
• Desirable: Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) or Confined Spaces.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day civil site package delivery, supervising site teams and subcontractors.
• Create and manage 3–4 week lookaheads and track progress against milestones.
• Resolve technical queries, coordinate temporary works and interface with design teams.
• Drive QA with ITPs, approvals, and non-conformance resolution.
• Enforce water-sector safety standards and RAMS approvals on site.
