Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join a major water treatment project in Southampton. You will lead daily civils operations, coordinate site engineers and subcontractors, and drive lookahead programmes ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The role requires a strong background in RC structures, deep excavations, and temporary works, with relevant Civil Engineering qualifications and UK AMP experience. Strong site leadership and compliance focus are essential.

Qualifications

Proven track record as Sub Agent or Senior Site Engineer on heavy civils/water infrastructure projects.
Experience delivering WT/WW systems under UK AMP frameworks is essential.
Strong technical knowledge of RC structures, deep excavations, pipework, and temporary works.

Responsibilities

Lead daily site operations for civils workstreams with engineers, foremen, and subcontractors.
Manage 3–6 week lookahead programmes, resource allocation, and bottleneck resolution.
Oversee TQs, RFIs, and temporary works ensuring alignment with design, site ops, and client standards.
Implement and monitor ITPs, sign-offs, and non-conformance tracking.
Review RAMS and issue permits; ensure environmental compliance and zero-harm culture.
