Job summary

EKFB invites applications for a Sub Agent in the Aylesbury area to support construction strategy and supervision on a major civil engineering project. You will help run kick-off meetings, prepare method statements, environmental and quality plans, and align procurement with design deliverables.

You will liaise with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials, manage the site engineering team, and ensure work conforms to contract requirements, safety and quality

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards ICE membership.
• Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of site engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
• Must have own transport to attend site(s) in remote areas.
• Full driving licence required.
• Competencies: SMSTS or SSSTS; CSCS White/Yellow/Red-Experienced/Black-Manager/Gold-Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction strategy, including kick-off meetings and pre-commencement documentation.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to meet standards, programme and budget.
• Manage the site engineering team and develop site/section engineers.
• Assist in coordinating construction operations to meet contract requirements and SHEQ standards.
• Contribute to production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans.
