Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a dynamic Sub Agent for the NZT mobilisation on the Teesside site in Redcar and Cleveland. You will lead a defined mobilisation section, coordinating Section Engineers, supervisors and suppliers to ensure safe, timely and compliant delivery of depots, welfare, logistics and services.

The role requires strong leadership, planning and interface skills to align engineering, commercial, planning, quality, H&S and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the allocated mobilisation section safely, with clear ownership and accountability.
• Coordinate interface across Section Engineers, Site Engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Maintain control of safety, quality, programme, cost, records and handover.
• Plan and maintain short-term programmes for the section.
• Manage labour, plant, materials, permits, access, drawings, temporary works and inspections.
• Support development and competency of junior engineers and site staff.
