Balfour Beatty is seeking an experienced Sub Agent on site for major civil engineering packages in Teesside. You will lead on delivery, mentor engineers and ensure safety, quality and programme adherence on a fast-paced site.
Strong candidates with NEC experience and CSCS/SMSTS will fit well. The role offers opportunity to shape delivery on landmark projects with diverse stakeholders and a focus on robust safety culture.

This landmark scheme will create one of the UK's first large-scale carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) networks, directly supporting the country's legally binding net zero targets and securing long‑term industrial investment in the Tees Valley.
Joining this project means contributing to something bigger than a contract – you'll be part of a programme that will help reshape the UK's energy landscape for decades to come.
We are looking for an experienced Sub Agent to take ownership of specific civil engineering packages on site – driving delivery, leading your team and ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, complex site environment.
We will also consider strong Senior Engineers who are ready to take the step up into a Sub Agent position.
Lodging applicants are very welcome – support can be discussed at interview.
