Job summary

VolkerStevin, part of the VolkerWessels UK Group, is recruiting a Sub Agent to lead engineers, supervisors and supply chain partners on a National Grid substation project. You will drive safety, quality and programme delivery, reporting to the Project Manager and Site Agent.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management qualification, SMSTS, CSCS and site leadership experience within major infrastructure, utilities or energy schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• SMSTS certification and First Aid at Work qualification.
• Proven experience as Sub Agent or Senior Engineer on major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers, supervisors and supply chain partners to deliver civil, structural and electrical interface works to programme and budget.
• Manage RAMS, ITPs, subcontractors and project change.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and Site Agent to ensure safety and quality.
