Job summary

VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, is recruiting a Sub Agent to lead key work packages on a major National Grid substation project. You will work with the Project Manager and Site Agent to guide engineers, supervisors and supply chain partners to deliver civil, structural and electrical interface works on time and to budget.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering qualification, strong site leadership and a track record on major infrastructure projects, plus SMSTS, CSCS and temporary

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC, or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Sub Agent, Senior Engineer or similar on major infrastructure, utilities or energy projects.
• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS management card.
• Temporary Works Supervisor competence.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• Experience managing programmes, RAMS, ITPs, subcontractors and project change.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers, supervisors and supply chain to deliver complex civil, structural and electrical interface works to programme, budget and quality.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Site Agent to own key work packages and ensure safe delivery on site.
• Ensure compliance with RAMS, ITPs and NEC/contract requirements and manage changes.
