Job summary

VolkerWessels UK Ltd, via VolkerStevin, is seeking a Sub Agent to join our team and take ownership of key work packages on a major National Grid substation project. You will lead site teams, coordinate with design and construction parties and ensure delivery in a live environment.

We’re looking for a proactive civil engineering professional with experience on large infrastructure projects, SMSTS, CSCS, and strong RAMS/ITP management skills. Flexible working options available.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
Proven experience as Sub Agent, Senior Engineer or similar role on major infrastructure, utilities or energy projects.
SMSTS certification, CSCS or EUSR CSCS management card, Temporary Works Supervisor competence, First Aid at Work qualification.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of key work packages on a major National Grid substation project.
Lead teams to achieve safety, quality and schedule targets.
Manage RAMS, ITPs, subcontractors and project changes.
