Job summary

AUREOS INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES LIMITED is seeking a Sub Agent to support highways upgrade projects for Liverpool City Council, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager, supervising on-site activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance. A relevant civil engineering degree and 3–5 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the infrastructure sector.
• Proven experience in managing site operations and supervising teams.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, health and safety regulations, and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Senior Agent in the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects.
• Supervise and coordinate on-site activities, including direct labor, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, progress reports, and material usage.
• Assist with the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure work meets specified standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders as required.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and other project documentation.
• Support the management of project budgets and cost control.
