Job summary

Aureos Infrastructure Services Limited in Sheffield is seeking a Sub Agent to support highways upgrade projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to required quality.

You will assist the Project Manager, supervise on-site teams, monitor progress, manage risks, and maintain accurate records while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure/ highways projects.
• Experience supervising site operations and coordinating teams.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and QA.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Senior Agent in planning, execution, and closing of construction projects.
• Supervise and coordinate on-site activities, including direct labour, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Maintain site records, including daily diaries, progress reports, and material usage.
• Assist with procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure work meets specified standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders as required.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and other project documentation.
• Support the management of project budgets and cost control.
