Job summary

Aureos Capital is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to lead engineering teams on the Howden Relief Road project. The role focuses on earthworks, drainage and pavement with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and programme delivery.

You will drive engineering excellence, coordinate resources, manage ITPs and NCRs, and work closely with the Project Manager and stakeholders to ensure right-first-time delivery on a major highway scheme.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified civil engineer with extensive highways and civil experience.
• CSCS Manager Card and SMSTS preferred.
• Full UK driving licence or equivalent for site access.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in highways/civil engineering.
• Experience delivering earthworks, drainage and pavement works on major schemes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams delivering earthworks, drainage and pavement works.
• Drive safety, quality, programme and productivity targets.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, SHW, MCDHW and local authority requirements.
• Identify risks and technical issues early and implement mitigations.
• Develop and implement ITPs and quality control processes.
• Mentor site engineers and coordinate across disciplines with stakeholders.
