Job summary

Hyreus in Cumbria is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to support the Site Agent in planning, coordination and delivery of major civil engineering works for power and nuclear projects. You will oversee day‑to‑day site operations, manage subcontractors and ensure activities meet programme, quality and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sub Agent or similar site management role in civil engineering.
• Strong background in major civil works, power or nuclear sectors preferred.
• Experience interpreting drawings, specs and RAMS; NEC contract familiarity helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Agent in planning, coordination and delivery of civil works.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, safety, and construction methods.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain progress.
• Develop short-term programmes, monitor progress and adjust schedules.
• Maintain site records, reports and construction documentation.
• Ensure compliance with RAMS, drawings, specs and quality controls.
