Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Section Engineer or Sub Agent for an established Tier 1 Contractor in the rail sector. The role involves on-site quality assessment, health and safety inspection, and coordination of subcontractors to keep works progressing efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a civils/rail background, be able to raise technical queries, and manage site activities with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• PTS credential may be required.
• CITB TWC would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing the sub-contractors and engineers on site.
• Procurement / ordering of materials.
• Quality Control of the works / Health and Safety.
• Production of weekly rolling programmes.
• Providing support to site engineers.

Suitable candidates will come from a rail stations background.
