Job summary

Contract Scotland is seeking a Sub Agent for major energy infrastructure projects across Scotland. The role is site-based, working closely with the project team to plan, coordinate and deliver works safely and efficiently.

You'll coordinate day-to-day site activities, monitor progress against programme and quality standards, and support site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery on a large-scale transmission and substation framework.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Sub Agent or similar site-based role.
• Strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating site activities and project teams.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage resources and support effective project delivery.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and quality requirements.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with subcontractors, suppliers and wider project teams.

The Opportunity

As a Sub Agent, you'll play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of works on site, working closely with the wider project team to ensure activities are planned, coordinated and delivered safely and efficiently.

The role is predominantly site-based, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being involved directly in project delivery and working closely with site teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders.

You’ll help coordinate day-to-day site activities, monitor progress and ensure works are delivered in line with project requirements, programme and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced Sub Agent with a strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Working Away From Home

As the projects are located across Scotland, the role is predominantly site-based and may involve working away from home.

Support is available through accommodation and/or subsistence, alongside other policies designed to support employees working away from home, subject to eligibility based on your permanent home address.
