Job summary

Flix Interactive Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks a skilled character/creature artist to take concepts through to Unreal Engine 5 integration. This is a full-time contractor role with remote work within the UK or West Midlands-based studio.

You will sculpt, model, retopologize, UV and texture assets, rig and animate them, and review in-engine balancing artistic direction with performance budgets. A strong portfolio in character/creature art is essential.

Qualifications

• Professional character/creature art experience and a portfolio including animation.
• Maya, ZBrush and Substance 3D Painter skills, with anatomy and stylisation knowledge.
• Rigging, animation and Unreal Engine 5 integration experience, plus clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Sculpt, model, retopologize, UV and texture game assets, including rigging and animation.
• Integrate and review assets in-engine while balancing artistic direction and performance budgets.
