Job summary

The College of Richard Collyer in Horsham invites applications for Study Support Assistants/Study Support Practitioners to help students with individual or additional needs in the classroom, in 1:1 sessions and small group settings.

The post is 37 hours per week during term time (43.6 weeks), salary on the Support Staff Pay Scale from Point 5 to Point 7, with closing date 9am Monday 14th September. Applications from graduates welcomed.

Qualifications

• Study Support Assistant is paid at Point 5.
• Study Support Practitioner is paid on the range Point 6 rising to Point 7.

Responsibilities

• Support students with individual or additional needs in the classroom, in 1:1 sessions and as part of small group support.
• Ability to offer emotional literacy (ELSA) or English as an Additional Language (EAL) support would be desirable but not essential.
