Job summary

Randstad Education is partnering with a college in Bromley to recruit a Learning Support Officer dedicated to SEN learners. This role offers 1:1 and group support on multiple study programmes, with responsibility for personal care, mobility and safety, and helping students work towards their EHCP goals.

The position is term-time only, based on a modern campus, with a salary of £27,875 - £28,701 and a commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Qualifications

• A good standard of general education, including Level 2 Maths and English.
• Willingness to achieve these qualifications if not present.
• Patient and adaptable with SEN support.
• Comfort with personal care and mobility assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group learning support to SEN students across study programmes under curriculum staff.
• Assist learners with personal care, mobility, and safety in a respectful manner.
• Support students in achieving EHCP goals.
• Ensure specialist assistive technologies and adaptive equipment are accessible and operational for students.
• Help learners develop study skills and independence; monitor progress and contribute to reviews.
