Job summary

Richard Taunton Sixth Form College in Southampton is seeking a part-time Study Sessions Supervisor to support students in the Learning Centre. The role is 14 hours per week during term-time (37 weeks per year), with duties including taking registers, helping with research, writing skills and revision, and using our online register and behaviour system.

Good communication, an understanding of student behaviour and safeguarding are essential. An Enhanced DBS check is required.

Permanent - Part time - 14 hours, term-time only (37 weeks per year)

Salary - Support Staff Spine Point 21 (£24,654 FTE, £7,606.35 Actual)

Study Sessions Supervisor working Mondays and Tuesdays, 08:30 - 16:00, for our busy 6th Form College Learning Centre.

You will take registers, work with students, assisting them with research, writing skills and revision. You will also use our online register and behaviour system to record any problems.
You will need a good understanding of student behaviour, knowledge of Safeguarding and a willingness to help our students to succeed. Good communication skills are essential for this role, both written and verbal.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
