Job summary

Worcester Sixth Form College is seeking a permanent Learning Support Assistant, Level 2, to support students in Independent Study sessions and one-to-one learning. The start date is ASAP, and applicants must have Level 3 qualifications (A Levels or equivalent). The post is full-time, term-time (190 days).

Responsibilities include assisting with study skills, scheduling within the Learning Resources Centre, and administrative tasks related to student retention and achievement.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 (A Level or equivalent).
• Ability to support students on a one-to-one basis.
• Willingness to assist in developing the Independent Study programme.

Responsibilities

• Support students within timetabled Independent Study sessions.
• Assist with study skills to support individual learning needs.
• Undertake administrative tasks related to student retention and achievement (taking registers, follow-up on attendance).
