The Study Support Service Manager will assume a key leadership position in the Regional RDN (RRDN) Study Support Service, which will be seamlessly integrated within the collective national Study Support Service, serving as the cornerstone of the NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN). The role involves facilitating effective study delivery across the system while enhancing strategic capacity and capability.

Role Overview
The role involves delivering critical services across specific specialties and settings, including pre-approval services like Planning and Placement Service and post-approval services such as portfolio oversight. A key aspect is building a strong knowledge base through communities of practice with study and site delivery teams, facilitating best practice exchange to optimize study performance. The role collaborates with Regional Specialty and Setting Leads on regional and national improvement projects, aligning efforts with strategic goals and fostering continuous improvement across the network.
The team offers a positive, developmental environment involved in innovative healthcare research. The role offers flexibility regarding the base location (Truro, Plymouth, Exeter, or Taunton) with regular travel to local and regional offices.
