SALARY: £11,608 actual annual salary (£25,614 FTE) + Benefits

WORKING HOURS: 20 hours per week, 10:30am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year

No previous experience is required. The Librarian will receive a comprehensive induction, support from a dedicated mentor and ongoing learning and development, making this a particularly attractive opportunity for someone looking to start a career in education or considering teaching in the future.
Working alongside curriculum and teaching colleagues, the Librarian will help students and staff use the Learning Resource Centre, manage books and other resources, support library enquiries, promote reading and organise activities including reading groups and book clubs.
You will also support the day-to-day organisation and safe operation of the centre, use library and ICT systems, prepare displays and publicity materials and provide First Aid room support when required.
