Job summary

GEDU Global Education is seeking Study Skills Lecturers to support academic development across partner universities. You will design, plan and deliver sessions focusing on English language, numeracy, academic writing and referencing.

We value experience in UK higher education, strong digital literacy, and the ability to provide constructive feedback to enhance student learning. This is an on-site, full-time role based in London with weekday, evening, and weekend teaching flexibility.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
• Experience of teaching in UK higher education in a relevant discipline.
• Willingness to lead a literacy development area (reading, writing, numeracy, etc.).
• Strong digital literacy and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver teaching sessions to develop academic skills.
• Design assessments and assess student work to meet learning outcomes.
• Provide meaningful feedback and academic guidance to students.
• Contribute to programme design, development and evaluation.
• Participate in events such as reviews, open days and partner visits.
• Keep up to date with best practices in learning and teaching.
