University of Birmingham's Institute of Translational Medicine invites applications for a full-time, fixed-term role. Based in College Hub, Edgbaston, Birmingham, the post works on clinical research studies with responsibilities spanning study setup, data management and reporting.

Two contracts are available: 1 year and 2 years. The role offers progression to £39,906 and is funded through October 2028, with a closing date of 2 November 2026.

Qualificações

• Higher degree in a relevant biomedical subject or equivalent with practical clinical research experience.
• In-depth understanding of clinical research and trial management methodology.
• Experience managing medical research information (data coding, entry validation, reporting).

Responsabilidades

• Set up clinical sites and prepare ethics/regulatory submissions.
• Support site recruitment and monitor progress.
• Conduct QA and audit visits to sites.
• Design and develop study documents, databases and tools.
• Provide regular progress reports and maintain trial website.
• Ensure study data is collected, stored and met deadlines.
• Train and supervise collaborators in procedures.
• Coordinate study management and oversee groups.
• Keep up to date with literature and present findings.
• Ensure compliance with standards, policies and legislation.
