University of York is seeking a Visiting Student Programme Coordinator within Global Opportunities. You will deliver incoming study abroad opportunities, supporting undergraduate and postgraduate visiting students from enquiry through to arrival and departure, in collaboration with partner institutions and York staff.

You will coordinate contracts, manage finances, run events, and advise on routes and requirements to ensure an excellent visiting student experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education study abroad and advising international students.
• Experience with student funding sources and allocations (ISEP, Erasmus+, Turing).
• Knowledge of office admin processes and student data systems (SITS, e:Vision, Mobility Online).
• Willingness to work outside standard hours and travel overnight/overseas.
• Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Teamwork and collaborative approach.
• Commitment to delivering a quality service.

Responsabilités

• Be the primary advisory contact for enquiries by phone, email, and 1:1 appointments and guide complex study abroad decisions.
• Plan and run study abroad events, fairs, and information sessions for prospective and current students.
• Produce information through websites, webinars, materials, and updates for staff and students.
• Coordinate programme contracts with partner institutions and manage renewals.
• Liaise with Faculty and Professional Services to coordinate operations and share expertise.
• Manage Global Opportunities finances and related payments to partners and students.
• Undertake due diligence and research on new partner destinations and schemes.
