Job description

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Studio Assistant for an immediate start working on a 6-month contract (potentially to go perm) to work alongside a world-leading agency team for a leading brand consultancy based in Marylebone.

Role Overview

The Studio Assistant will work at the heart of the studio, contributing to all matters related to the administration and functionality of the studio, with a strong focus on project and research archiving as an ongoing concern.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience working as part of a creative team. You will need to be organized, with strong time management skills and an agile, can-do mindset.

Main Duties
  1. Assist the London Executive Assistants with all administration support and operational aspects.
  2. Manage calendars, diaries, and extensive timezone scheduling.
  3. Take notes as required on behalf of the London Executive Assistants.
  4. Handle post management, including collections, deliveries, and courier organization.
  5. Maintain stock levels, ensuring office stationery and art supplies are ordered and stocked.
  6. Support client needs by offering catering services (e.g., tea/coffee and biscuits) on behalf of the London Executive Assistants.
  7. Provide expenses support to the London Executive Assistants as needed.
  8. Research for creative inspiration outside of Closer, keeping track of key global and London events, exhibitions, art fairs, cultural shows, and immersive experiences.
  9. Assist with gifting purchases for clients and staff around birthdays, Christmas, and client anniversaries.
  10. Liaise with the Studio Manager to monitor studio space, especially when freelancers or clients use the studio.
  11. Maintain a record of Closer talent’s annual leave and keep the Executive Assistant updated.
  12. Manage and monitor Closer boardroom activity.
Qualifications and Skills

Proficiency in GSuite, Keynote, Microsoft Office, and InDesign is required. The candidate should be an excellent problem solver, able to navigate varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and a genuine interest in Fashion, Arts, Media, and the Environment industry are also essential.
