Job summary

Cambridge Regional College is seeking a Pastoral Support & Student Liaison Manager to lead the Pastoral Support and Student Liaison teams across Cambridge and Huntingdon campuses. The role is full-time (37 hours) and year-round, offering a salary of £39,401 per annum plus staff benefits.

You will oversee staff performance, development and wellbeing, ensuring a student-centred approach and high service standards within well-supported teams.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at minimum Grade C/4 (or equivalent)
• Level 3 or above in Education, Youth Work, Social Work, Leadership & Management or related discipline
• Substantial experience leading teams with recruitment, performance reviews, and staff development
• Experience in student services, pastoral support, safeguarding, inclusion or related areas
• Knowledge of safeguarding legislation, student wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion practices

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the Pastoral Support and Student Liaison teams across both campuses
• Promote and embed effective pastoral approaches and share best practices
• Oversee delivery of pastoral support across the college with high standards of practice
