Job summary

Rose Bruford College in Sidcup invites applications for a Student Support Advisor to support the Head of Student Life, help plan the College’s Student Life programme and contribute to an inclusive student experience.

You will coordinate the Student Voice agenda with the Students' Union and course reps; bring strong organisational and communication skills; and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in student services in higher education.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to handle sensitive and complex situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of mental health first aid and responding to students in crisis.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Head of Student Life to plan the College’s Student Life programme and enhance student support services.
• Coordinate and deliver the College's Student Voice agenda, collaborating with the Students' Union, course Representatives and academic departments.
