Job summary

City of Portsmouth College in Portsmouth is seeking a part-time Student Support and Wellbeing Advisor to work 19 hours per week across campus sites. You will provide high-quality wellbeing support, information, advice and guidance to students, and contribute to safeguarding and welfare activities.

You will collaborate with the Student Experience team, identify barriers to learning, maintain records of interventions and signpost students to internal and external services.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Student Experience team to provide high-quality support to students.
  • Identify and address barriers to learning and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student support, interventions, referrals and outcomes.
  • Provide advice, guidance and signpost students to internal and external services.
  • Work with curriculum staff, parents/carers and external agencies to address barriers to learning.
