Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd in Sidcup is seeking a proactive Student Support Advisor to manage the day-to-day operation of the busy Student Life centre and provide full administrative support to the Head of Student Life.

This role requires excellent organisation, strong communication with students and staff, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion in a fast-paced higher education setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in student services in higher education.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
• The ability to handle sensitive and complex situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of mental health first aid and responding to students in crisis.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Head of Student Life to plan the College’s Student Life programme which seeks to contribute to the transformation the student experience by enhancing student support services and inclusive learning environments.
• Support the coordination and delivery of the College's Student Voice agenda, working collaboratively with the Students' Union, Course Representatives and academic departments to ensure student feedback informs service development and enhancement.
