Job summary

Plume School in the United Kingdom is seeking a full-time Pastoral Support Coordinator, starting September 2026 on a fixed-term basis until 21 July 2027. The role sits within a strong pastoral department in our successful academy, dedicated to supporting students' behaviour, wellbeing and personal development.

You will work with Year 7–13 pupils to ensure punctuality, engagement and smooth class placement, providing interventions where regulation or additional pastoral support is required.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE at grade C/4 or equivalent Level 2 qualification.
• Willingness to support Years 7–13.
• Desirable: TA qualification, childcare qualification, or Level 3 qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the pastoral team in maintaining high standards of behaviour, punctuality and engagement.
• Ensure students are in the right place at the right time.
• Intervene where students require regulation or additional pastoral support.
• Foster teaching, learning and personal development of Year 7 to 13 students.
