Shorefields in Maldon is seeking a Full-time Pastoral Support Coordinator to support the pastoral team across the academy. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of behaviour, punctuality and engagement, ensuring students are in the right place at the right time and supporting positive learning behaviours.
Term-time only, 37 hours per week across 39 weeks, with 08:00–16:00 Monday-Thursday and 08:00–15:30 Friday, salary up to £30,025 and £21,344 actual term-time pay including holiday pay.

Full‑time Pastoral Support Coordinator to support the pastoral team in maintaining high standards of behaviour, punctuality and engagement across the academy. The role ensures students are in the right place at the right time, supports positive learning behaviours, and intervenes where students require additional pastoral support.
Minimum: GCSE Maths and English at grade C (or grade 4) or equivalent Level 2 qualification. Desirable: TA qualification, qualification in childcare or Level 3 qualifications.
Hardworking, enthusiastic, dedicated commitment and ability to focus on fostering teaching, learning and personal development of Year 7 to 13 students.
Responsibilities will be in accordance with the Pastoral Support Coordinator job description.
Term‑time only position: 37 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, including INSET days. Working hours 08:00‑16:00 Monday‑Thursday; 08:00‑15:30 Friday with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break each day. Salary up to £30,025 per annum (Band 3, Points 17‑25); actual term‑time salary £21,344 per annum including holiday pay allowance.
