Job summary

Shorefields in Maldon is seeking a Full-time Pastoral Support Coordinator to support the pastoral team across the academy. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of behaviour, punctuality and engagement, ensuring students are in the right place at the right time and supporting positive learning behaviours.

Term-time only, 37 hours per week across 39 weeks, with 08:00–16:00 Monday-Thursday and 08:00–15:30 Friday, salary up to £30,025 and £21,344 actual term-time pay including holiday pay.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C (or grade 4) or equivalent Level 2 qualification.
• Desirable: TA qualification, Level 3 qualification in childcare.

Responsibilities

• Support the pastoral team in maintaining high standards of behaviour, punctuality and engagement across the academy.
• Ensure students are in the right place at the right time to support positive learning behaviours.
• Intervene where students require additional pastoral support.
