Job summary

George Pindar School in Scarborough is seeking an experienced pastoral lead to oversee the welfare, behaviour and progress of a designated Year/House group. You will lead and support both pastoral and academic development within a dynamic school community.

With strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, you will promote a safe, inclusive environment and collaborate with the Heartwood Learning Trust to continually enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in pastoral care and safeguarding practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and support the pastoral and academic development of a designated Year, House or other group of students.
• Ensure high standards of behaviour, attendance, punctuality and welfare.
