Job summary

Rednock School is seeking a Welfare and Support Advisor to help ensure students are well cared for, support the Community Leader, and deliver welfare interventions to support students’ welfare and development.

This term-time only role is 37 hours per week, Grade 4 pro rata (£22,803 actual). The closing date is 09:00 am Wednesday 4th November 2026, with interviews likely to be held earlier for strong applicants.

Qualifications

• Good listening skills and ability to build relationships with children, staff, parents and external agencies.
• Experience in a school or educational setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of barriers to learning and how to support students effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations and resolutions for reported student situations.
• Undertake first aid and call-out duties.
• Maintain up-to-date files and records for the allocated community.
• Support students experiencing difficulties relating to or affecting studies.
