Job summary

Newbold Verdon Primary School is seeking a dedicated and effective Parent & Family Support Advisor for a fixed-term contract. The role is 10 hours per week, with a pro-rata salary range of £33,129 to £35,493 per annum. Starting salary is approximately £7,662.74 (Pay Point 19).

The school emphasises energy, empathy, teamwork and professional development within a supportive staff community. Visits to the school are encouraged; closing date is 3 November 2026.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above is essential.
• Be able to use their initiative to work independently and flexibly.
• Be a person with good interpersonal skills who can form positive relationships with both pupils and adults, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Be someone who is able to show empathy and flexibility towards the children in their care.
