Job summary

Kingston College invites applications for a Part-time Student Support Adviser to help learners overcome barriers and progress into further education, training or employment. You will work with students, colleagues and external organisations to provide information, advice, guidance and personalised support.

You’ll manage a caseload of learners at risk, deliver safeguarding and signposting, and help prevent disengagement while supporting wider college community activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable young people and safeguarding
• Ability to deliver workshops or tutorials and signposting
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of learners at risk and develop support plans
• Provide information, advice, and signposting to learners
• Deliver workshops and signposting sessions and conduct reviews
• Produce risk assessments and support plans and monitor wellbeing
