Job summary

Kingston College is seeking a Student Support Adviser on a 12‑month fixed term contract. The role is 18 hours per week (0.5), term‑time only, campus‑based.

You will provide information, advice and personal support to learners, manage a caseload at risk and signpost to appropriate services to remove barriers to learning. You will collaborate with students, staff and external organisations, deliver workshops, conduct reviews and risk assessments, and maintain accurate records using ProMonitor/EBS

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners who may be disengaged or at risk.
• Experience with safeguarding in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to provide information, advice and signposting to learners.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of learners at risk and develop robust support plans.
• Provide 1:1 information, advice and guidance to learners.
• Deliver workshops and tutorials and conduct reviews and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate learner records using ProMonitor/EBS and college systems.
• Collaborate with students, staff and external organisations to support progression.
