Helix Academies Trust invites applications for Learning Support Assistants at Marple Hall School. We are seeking dedicated individuals to support students with special educational needs in mainstream classes, working closely with teachers to promote learning, communication and emotional regulation.

This permanent role offers 34 hours per week (8am–3:30pm), NJC pay scale 3 (£26,427–£26,847 pro rata, actual £20,771–£21,101), and requires a flexible, patient approach.

Qualifications

• Support students with special educational needs in mainstream classes.
• Contribute to learning, communication, emotional regulation and social development.

Responsibilities

• Assist learning and monitor progress of pupils with SEND.
• Support pupils with SEN in daily activities and classroom routines.
