Job summary

Access Creative College is seeking a proactive Learner Services Support role in Norwich. You will help deliver learning interventions, support students with EHCPs, assist in safeguarding, and manage front-of-house operations to maintain a safe, welcoming centre.

Collaboration with the Senior Learner Services Advisor and other staff is essential. The role involves administrative duties across admissions, attendance, and data reporting, plus duties supporting Examinations Officers and Careers

Qualifications

• DBS clearance or willing to undergo DBS check.
• Experience in safeguarding and promoting welfare of learners.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic education environment.
• Ability to liaise with lecturers, staff and learners to provide effective admin support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning support for learners with identified needs, including 1:1 and small group support.
• Record learner progress and pastoral notes in appropriate systems.
• Assist in preparing ALS profiles and support plans.
• Support Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) processes with evidence gathering.
• Manage reception and ensure a welcoming, professional front of house.
• Assist with estates, facilities, health and safety tasks and general admin.
• Coordinate admissions, enrolment, registers, absences, and data reporting.
• Support Examinations Officers with admin, invigilation and logistics.
• Provide careers support as directed by senior leadership.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate appropriately under DSL guidance.
